πŸ”¬ RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT & PRODUCT INNOVATION

Research & Product Innovation (R&D Centre)

Promoting a vibrant culture of application-oriented research, product innovation, and entrepreneurship to address real-world societal and industrial challenges. Recognized as a VTU Research Centre driving Ph.D. scholars and funded projects.

Bridging Theory & Practical Product Development

The Research and Product Innovation Cell (R&D Centre) at VVIT promotes a culture of research, innovation, and product development by enabling students to address real-world societal and industrial challenges through application-oriented engineering practices.

Students are trained in applied research and innovation processes including problem identification, conceptual design, experimentation, and prototype development. Supported by modern tools, computing infrastructure, and advanced software, the Centre facilitates university-level research and interdisciplinary projects.

Funding & Granting Partners

The R&D Centre leads proposals for research, consultancy, and sponsored projects, supporting grant applications from agencies including:

VTU AICTE CSIR DST UGC MHRD KSFC Govt & Industry Partners

Doctoral (Ph.D) & Research Status

VVIT is recognized as a Research Centre under Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, supporting doctoral (Ph.D.) programmes, funded research projects, and collaborative initiatives.
