VVIT was established under the aegis of Sri Vijaya Vittala Charitable and Educational Trust, inspired by eminent economists and academicians.

Distinguished academician and eminent economist from the London School of Economics (LSE). His vision emphasized quality education, discipline, and societal responsibility, establishing VVIT as a seat of outcome-based learning.
