VVIT was established under the aegis of Sri Vijaya Vittala Charitable and Educational Trust, inspired by eminent economists and academicians.
Distinguished academician and eminent economist from the London School of Economics (LSE). His vision emphasized quality education, discipline, and societal responsibility, establishing VVIT as a seat of outcome-based learning.
Former Vice Chancellor of Bangalore University, IEEE Fellow, ACM Distinguished Educator, Former Principal UVCE. Dual Ph.Ds (IIT Madras in CS & BU in Economics), 50+ books, 500+ research papers.

Treasurer of Sri Vijaya Vittala Charitable and Educational Trust and Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering. Oversees financial management and academic alignment.

Named after Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya, VTU Belagavi (established 1998) is one of India's largest technological universities with 202 affiliated colleges, 1 constituent college, and 17 autonomous colleges, graduating ~50,000 engineers annually across 35 UG and 94 PG disciplines.

Statutory Bodies
