Research in Mechanical Engineering

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at VVIT provides extensive facilities for advanced doctoral research. The department has successfully fabricated over 22 working prototypes including multi-axis robotic arms, battery recycling systems, and hybrid composite structural beams.

Scholars have access to specialized machine shops, computerized computerized engine test rigs, Pin-on-Disc tribometers, and finite element simulation software for design optimization.
