Training & Placement Cell

The Placement Cell at Vijaya Vittala Institute of Technology is dedicated to shaping students into well-rounded professionals by fostering a balance of technical and interpersonal skills. With a focus on bridging the gap between industry requirements and student potential, the cell organizes training programs conducted by industry experts through Classroom Training and Live Virtual Classes (LVC). Students are trained in soft skills, personality development, time management, communication, and technical skills. The department also provides career counseling, organizes industrial visits, career seminars, and pre-placement talks, ensuring students are well-prepared to meet diverse industry demands. These initiatives aim to transform engineering graduates into competent young professionals ready for global technical roles.

Training Offered At Campus

VVIT has followed a trend to offer training to all the students irrespective of their stream (branch) every year. Right from their 3rd Semester corporate training is started for all the students.
Trainings on quantitative aptitude, Reasoning, Soft skills, Communications, (Verbal and Non-Verbal) are given to all the students in final year. Along with this, branch specific training /stream specific software training is also provided in the pre-final year to make the students industry ready.

Specialized Trainings / Branch Specific Trainings

For Computer Science students various trainings offered include: C, Aptitude in C, C++, Advanced C++, Basic Java, Advanced Java, Manual and Automation Testing.
For ECE students various trainings offered include: C, Aptitude in C, C++, Basic Java, Embedded Systems.
For Mechanical Engineering students various trainings offered include: Auto Cad, ProE, Ansys, and Hypermesh.
For Civil Engineering students various trainings offered include: Auto Cad, Staad Pro, Revit Architecture and Field Surveying(Training on Total Station).
